Best 4K TVs
A great 4K TV isn't about the resolution number — everything's 4K now. What separates a good TV from a mediocre one is panel type, brightness, and refresh rate.
Compare live prices below, and use the checklist to pick the right panel.
What to look for
- Panel type — OLED has perfect blacks and shines for movies in dim rooms; QLED/LED gets brighter for sunny rooms and costs less.
- Brightness — HDR only looks good if the TV is bright enough to show it — brighter panels matter more in a well-lit room.
- Refresh rate — 120Hz helps for gaming and sports; 60Hz is fine for movies and regular shows.
- Ports & apps — Check it has the streaming apps you use and enough HDMI 2.1 ports if you game on a modern console.
