Best Robot Vacuums
Robot vacuums keep getting smarter and cheaper. Under a few hundred dollars you can get real mapping and strong suction — but the features that matter depend on your floors and whether you have pets.
Compare live prices below, and use the checklist to pick the right one.
What to look for
- Suction — Measured in Pa — higher is better for carpet and pet hair. Around 2,500 Pa or more is a solid target.
- Mapping & app — LIDAR or camera mapping lets you set no-go zones and clean specific rooms. Random-bounce models are cheaper but less efficient.
- Self-empty dock — Costs more up front, but means you only deal with the bin every few weeks instead of every run.
- Pets — Look for tangle-resistant brushes and stronger suction if you have shedding pets.
